dear sir or madam,

i am a 52-year-old male looking to rent a room in a house or apartment on los angeles' westside. i currently work at ucla full-time and bicycle commute as often as possible. i am clean, tidy, quiet, conscientious, respectful, kind, and, above all, dependable and responsible.

slightly more liberal than conservative, slightly more democrat than republican, i try to always see both sides of an issue. however, i steadfastly refuse to debate religion, politics, abortion, capital punishment, or any other hot button topic. i'm more about finding common ground and living harmoniously with others.

i am an avid environmentalist, recycling everything i can, riding my bicycle whenever possible, and only drive my car when absolutely necessary.

i have never written a bad check in my life, am totally solvent, and have the credit score to prove it. i am fine with providing a security and cleaning deposit so long as there is a viable way of getting it back.
