Additional Information
myself (richie) and carissa are looking to share our 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment. it's a nice quiet safe residential street with mostly families and kids running around, but right on the edge of everything. we're just under a mile from the water, so a10-15 minute walk, and only a couple blocks off pier ave., and we are on a little hill just a few blocks east of the pch where we do have a view of the mighty blue pacific. it's an up stairs apartment. it's an older building, but we negotiated some renovations with the landlord. the living room is quite a nice size. there's a cute little dining room off that which will end up being an office/ work space for carissa who works from home. it's connected to a really good size kitchen with room for a small table/eating space. we have our own washer and dryer that are also in the kitchen. unfortunately there's only one bathroom. the place is fairly unfurnished if you have things of your own to add. there's a back yard. we have a one car garage that currently is just used for storage. there's one off street parking place in the drive way. otherwise it's street parking.the available room is roughly 10'8 x 11'. it's the yellow one in some pictures, but has been repainted to the blue that looks nice in other pictures. it has nice closet space with over head storage. it's room enough for probably a queen sized bed and dresser and what not.
rent and utilities are split evenly three ways. rent is $770 a month. the land lord pays for water, garbage, and sewage, which leaves us with wifi, electricity, and gas which comes to between $50-$80 a month. when we negotiated for the renovations, in order to prevent the landlord from raising the rent we agreed instead for an increased deposit. so as a result there is a $1000 refundable deposit that will be returned to you when you leave under the condition that you haven't caused any damage needing repair, and a $750 non-refundable deposit which will be attributed towards renovations.
